North Lawndale Employment Network is excited to expand our impact in community violence prevention through an innovative partnership with the City of Chicago and the Community Safety Coordination Center (CSCC). Thanks to support from the City of Chicago and private philanthropy, NLEN is expanding our outreach efforts and effectively collaborating with neighborhood stakeholders to inform residents about available community resources, support community violence prevention efforts, and support long-term systems change to create a safer city for everyone!

About The CSCC

The Community Safety Coordination Center (CSCC) was established in August 2021, utilizing the best practices learned from our citywide COVID-19 response. The CSCC works alongside other City departments to rebuild and beautify the physical environment of communities, create a thriving economy with abundant opportunities for education and employment, and support Chicagoans in addressing their individual and family needs.
